Botox reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles on the upper areas of the face, as well as on the neck. In these areas, the signs of aging are the result of muscular movements that constantly repeated over a lifetime. As the skin becomes less elastic, these wrinkles become static, meaning, they stay with you no matter what you do. 

The solution is administered using great attention to detail, for which Dr. Torres is famous with our clients. Once it has settled into the targeted muscle, Botox inhibits contractions by blocking neurotransmitters from communicating with the muscle. During the first week after treatment, muscles relax and the skin becomes smooth and supple. These results remain for three to seven months, depending on how quickly your body metabolizes the drug.
