Types of massage
Swedish massage is the best-known and most popular type of massage therapy. Swedish massage therapy involves mild, moderate or deeper strokes on the body to target tissues and muscles for maximal pain relief, stress release and relaxation.
Deep Tissue Massage, concentrates on the deeper layers of the body’s soft tissues. It aims to release chronic patterns of tension in the body, through slow strokes and deep pressure on the contracted area(s). This soothing, therapeutic treatment releases toxins, chronic tension and pain.
Lymphatic drainage, is a technique used to gently work and stimulate the lymphatic system (vessels in the body that carries cellular waste toward the heart, to be filtered and removed), the technique assist in the reduction of localized swelling to improve waste removal and immune function.
